At Lancashire Women we view complaints as an opportunity to learn and improve for the future, as well as a chance to put things right for the person or organisation that has made the complaint.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of our service, please speak in the first instance to a member of staff as we would like to take the opportunity to put things right immediately.

All complaint information will be handled sensitivity, telling only those who need to know and following any relevant data protection requirements.

How to make a complaint:

Written complaints may be sent to Lancashire Women at 21-23 Blackburn Road, Accrington, BB5 1HF or by e-mail at

Verbal complaints can be made by phone to 0300 330 1354 or in person to any Lancashire Women staff, volunteer or trustee.

Please note that while your complaint can be kept anonymous from the person or persons your complaint relates to, Lancashire Women will need your name and some personal details to be able to keep you updated on the progress of your complaint.

We have three possible stages in our complaints procedure which can be read in full here: Lancashire Women Complaints Policy

We treat all complaints with the same seriousness whether written or verbal, and want to learn from your experience.
