Lancashire Women offer a range of mental heath and wellbeing support. Please see below details of our current projects.


One to One Therapy and Groups in Blackpool

Our Positive Outcomes for Women Programme (POW) offers one to one counselling, groups and peer-led support at our Blackpool Centre (a short walk from the town centre). It is available for women who live in Blackpool and Fylde.

One to One Therapy and Groups in East Lancashire

NHS East Lancashire Talking Therapies are provided by Lancashire Women.

This service is open to women and men and offers one to one counselling and groups from our Accrington and Burnley centres.

Blackpool Family Wellbeing Service

Lancashire Women's Family Wellbeing Service offers emotional health and wellbeing support to families attending the Neonatal Unit at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. We also provide 1 to 1 counselling when the family leaves the ward.

Our 1 to1 counselling support is also open to families from the Blackpool community (postcodes FY 1-4) who may be struggling with their mental health during the perinatal period. (pregnancy up until a child is 2 years old)




Blackburn with Darwen Family Wellbeing Service

Lancashire Women's Blackburn with Darwen Family Wellbeing Service offers 1to1 emotional health and wellbeing support to families from the Blackburn with Darwen community who may be struggling with their mental health during the perinatal period. (pregnancy up until a child is 2 years old). Working in partnership with the Borough’s Family Hubs.
