Lancashire Women is a 100 strong team all working towards a shared set of values. Our collaborative and creative approach supports people to build on their own strengths, to become more confident; especially in controlling their own lives and claiming their rights.
We work under for 4 workstreams, Mental Health & Wellbeing, Employment Advice and Guidance, Money and Energy Advice and Justice & Safety.
Our approach is honest, non-judgemental and trauma-aware. We accept each person as they are and make no assumptions about them or their situation. We provide the tools to empower people to make positive change in their lives to benefit themselves and the people around them.
At Lancashire Women you can expect to work with an empathic and supportive team. We are working towards trauma-informed practice accreditation and are ISO 27001 accredited.
We have 4 sites in Blackpool, Accrington, Burnley and Blackburn and also operated from various outreach venues across Lancashire including Lancaster, Skelmerdale, Chorley and within Styal prison.
