Our Team
Our Charity is governed by a board of trustees, who bring skills and expertise in key areas. Day to day management of the charity is delegated to our Chief Executive Officer, with the support of the Senior Leadership Team, leading a team of dedicated, skilled and experienced delivery staff and admin team.
The capacity of the organisation is further supported through our team of volunteers – who bring on board vital skills, community knowledge and above all else passion for the work they do.

The Role of the Chief Executive Officer (CEO)
The CEO is the senior executive of the organisation, appointed by the Board, and is accountable to the Board through the Chair. The CEO is accountable for the performance of LW’s paid staff and volunteer workforce and is responsible to the Board for the day-to-day leadership, operation and administration of all aspects of LW’s organisation.
For the efficient and effective management and proper operation of the charity, the CEO delegates at their discretion several of their responsibilities to the SLT and other employees. This further delegation of responsibilities does not release the Chief Executive from overall responsibility to the Board. A Scheme of Delegation exists which identifies the respective functions of the Board, CEO and the Sub Committees.
