Signs of Harmful Gambling:

Gambling-related harm is not always easy to recognise. It can develop gradually and affect a person’s finances, relationships, wellbeing, and daily life.

You may wish to seek support if you or someone you know is:

  • Spending more money on gambling than intended
  • Finding it difficult to stick to a budget
  • Chasing losses in an attempt to win money back
  • Borrowing money or relying on credit because of gambling
  • Hiding or lying about gambling activity
  • Gambling to cope with stress, difficult emotions, or boredom
  • Feeling anxious, restless, or irritable when unable to gamble
  • Frequently asking family or friends for financial help
  • Struggling to manage money or noticing income disappears quickly
  • Using promotional offers, free spins, or multiple accounts to continue gambling

If any of these signs sound familiar, support is available. Seeking help early can prevent gambling-related harms from escalating and improve wellbeing for both the individual and those around them.

We can help with:

  • Specialised casework &
coaching
  • Blocking tools
