We officially opened our new flagship centre in Preston, marking a significant milestone in our mission to provide safe, inclusive and empowering spaces for women across the region.

The new premises on Guildhall St, will serve as a one-stop venue where women can access vital support, resources and community under one roof. In partnership with Hope Prevails and Safenet, the centre will offer unified services designed to meet the diverse needs of women navigating life’s challenges, from safety and wellbeing to personal growth and career transitions.

The opening event on 29th January was well attended by professionals and partner organisations who had an opportunity to view the new centre, meet staff and sample taster workshops provided by the charities,

By working alongside Hope Prevails and SafeNet, we are building a collaborative hub that provides holistic and empowering support to the local community.”

The Preston centre will provide:

• Mental health and wellbeing support
• Employment support including CV help and job-search guidance with mental wellbeing support where appropriate
• Support for women with experience of the criminal justice system to rebuild lives and access opportunities
• SnapBack – specialist trauma responsive addition and recovery support for women
• Workshops, courses and drop-in sessions to foster confidence, learn new skills, improve wellbeing and an opportunity to connect with other in a safe and welcoming environment
• Hope Prevails and Safenet provide support for adults affected by domestic abuse in Preston

Within this safe, shared spaces, Safenet will offer responsive, tailored support for women and children at risk of domestic abuse, including access to specialist 24-hour refuge accommodation and community-based services that help pave the way to safer, healthier and happier futures.”
